The cottage land is located close to the Osensjøen Turistsenter (tourist centre) and buyers have access to all facilities as well as facilities in the neighbouring area.

Reception/kiosk

Osensjøen Turistsenter is open all year. Janitor services can be arranged for clearing of snow off cottage roofs/terrace, heating prior to arrival, sub-letting etc.

Pub/dance bar

Osensjøen Turistsenter has a pub / dance bar with all rights. Various shows etc. are set up throughout the year.
Projector with large screen (3x3 m) will be installed during this year (2003). The tourist centre can also arrange parties for up to 150 people.

Sanitary facilities

All lots will be connected to electric, water and sewage systems. Owners can also use shower and sanitary facilities at the tourist centre.

Swimming/bathing

There is a 1700 meters lake shore with swimming spots. The pool has a 15 meters long and 5 meters tall water slide (NOK 30,- pr. day). A bubble bath is planned.

Prepared track for skiing/alpine skiing

The tourist centre has its own slope for skiing and playing (no lift) with access to miles and miles of prepared tracks during the winter. There are also lit, prepared tracks in Sjøenden and Osnesset. The largest alpine centre in Norway, Trysil, is located only 45km from Osensjøen.

Fishing

Lake Osensjøen has a variety of fish, e.g. trout, grayling, perch etc. Each lot is entitled to using two 30 meters long fishing nets along the lake shore (1700 meters) leading up to the tourist centre by purchasing a NOK 250,- seasonal fishing license.
In order to fish from the lake shore or from a boat, a regular fishing license is required.

Hunting (small animals)

The community sell one day or weekend licenses from 1. November. From 15. September until 31. October, the hunting period is divided into two periods and licenses are issued upon application.The community has hunting areas on both sides of the lake.

Playground

Equipped with trampoline, sandbox and swing.

Water sports

There is a harbour for small boats in the area and there are no restriction. The tourist centre have boats and canoes for rent, and offer activities such as water skiing and tube. The lake is perfect for wind surfers.

Domestic animals park

Snippen Farm is located apx 20km towards Elverum. See www.snippen.no.
There are pigs, ducks, bunnies and cats at the tourist centre.

Golf

Golf courts in Elverum, Rena and in Trysil.

Go cart

There is a go cart lane in Elverum and a fun cart lane in Trysil.

Bowling

There is one bowling hall in Trysil and one in Elverum.
